What’s New in Talus Vortex 1.1

Magma is proud to announce general availability of the latest Talus® release, Version 1.1.  Talus 1.1 is ready for immediate download. To obtain the latest version, please contact your Magma Account Team. Talus 1.1 release notes and documentation are available on MOLTEN.

Since the public announcement in May of this latest version of the Talus platform, customers have successfully adopted Talus 1.1 and used it on advanced node tapeouts  (see press announcement on Magma’s leadership in 45/40-nm tapeouts).  Our focus in developing Talus 1.1 was to address the challenges at 45/40nm and beyond while giving our customers a platform that would deliver better performance in the shortest turnaround time.  Talus 1.1 offers improved quality of results (QoR), ease of use, productivity and runtime/memory reduction.
